The JALT Critical Thinking SIG (CT SIG) is happy to announce that we are accepting proposals for presentations for Critical Thinking in the Classroom 2023 (CTC 2023) to be held online on July 1st, 2023, from 14:00 to 17:00.
The aim of this online event is to provide an opportunity for educators to share their materials, activities, methods, and approaches for encouraging critical thinking and higher order thinking skills in the English language classroom. Presenters will be given 25 minutes each (20 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A). Those in attendance should leave the event with plenty of ideas to use in their own practice.
If you are interested in presenting, send the following to program@jaltcriticalthinking.org with the title “CTC 2023 Submission”:
• A title of 10 words or less
• An abstract of 200 words or less
• Your name, position, affiliation, and email address
The deadline for submission is June 4, 2023. CT SIG membership is not required for participation or attendance. If you have any questions about the submission process, please send an email to program@jaltcriticalthinking.org.
