Critical Thinking Resources

Here you will find a variety of resources to help further the discussion on Critical Thinking in the EFL classroom.  If you have a link you would like to share, please send it to us by using the contact form. We would love to add as many resources as possible for our members.

Please note that these articles may or may not represent the ideas of all members. They are posted here to further discussion and raise awareness of Critical Thinking as something we can implement in our classrooms and for our students.

Online Courses

A beginner’s guide to Critical Thinking (with practice!) can be found at this website. We encourage all members (and visitors to this site) to watch the series when then have time and complete the practice sections to help improve your reasoning thinking skills.  Again, the course (free!) can be found here.

These are supported by the very important Critically Minded Network: Online Critical Thinking Course which contains and over 100 online text reconstruction, cloze and multiple selection exercises that can support your lessons. This course design is recommended for first and second year students of intermediate level English proficiency.
