Dear CT SIG Members,

We are pleased to be able to announce a call for presentation submissions for the upcoming 2014 ETJ Expo Tohoku in Sendai on Sunday, November 30th, hosted by English Teachers in Japan (ETJ) and the JALT Sendai Chapter. The JALT Critical Thinking SIG is looking for SIG members who are looking to present on critical thinking in language education.

We are inviting proposals for 45-minute presentations at ETJ Expo. There are currently as many as six slots available for CT SIG members. Submissions may be in the area of theory or practice, but should be relevant to the field of critical thinking in language education. A projector will be available for those who wish to use it.

Interested CT SIG members may send submissions to our Program Chair, Roehl Sybing, at roehl.sybing@gmail.com. The deadline for submissions is midnight, September 30th, 2014.

Submissions should include the following information:
 – Your name
 – Your affiliation

 – Your presentation title
– A vetting abstract of up to two hundred words
– A maximum fifty-word description of your presentation for the conference handbook, if accepted
